Understand the problem and propose a way forward



Many people that we talk to are at the very beginning of a journey using taxonomies and knowledge graphs. It isn’t always clear what the path forward is, but it is very clear that there is a problem that the business needs to solve.

To help companies in this position we provide our Discovery services package. This combines a set amount of professional services time - 5 days - which we find is the right amount of time needed to get an understanding and make sensible proposals. 

Along with this there is a three month standard subscription for Graphologi - our taxonomy and ontology management service, allowing businesses to try out and assess the possibilities of using an enterprise class system. Further to this, our EasyGraph knowledge graph development platform is also included with a three month Enterprise licence.

Within the allocated time we are, of course, happy to discuss whatever a customer needs, but our overall aim would be the following:

• To understand the nature of the problem the business has

• To understand any current processes and why they are not working as effectively as required

• To put together a high-level plan for addressing the issues, starting simply and building as value is shown

• To demonstrate how Graphologi and EasyGraph can potentially help with any solution
  

Graphologi is standards based, using the W3 SKOS and SKOS-XL specifications. These are now de facto standards for taxonomy systems. However, many users are still not aware of these standards and how to get the best from them. Therefore, within the allocated professional service days we will be happy to include modules to explain these standards and how to use them if required.

The prices for the Discovery package is £3950 (+ sales tax) and gives you five days of consultancy. Also included is a three month Standard Graphologi subscription (worth £750) and three month Enterprise EasyGraph licence (worth £3000).

Reporting Package

Graphologi provides standards compliance for the SKOS and SKOS-XL standards. However, many businesses need to go further than this and implement their own business rules.

Graphologi provides the ability to create custom reports that can give insights into a customer's data and also be used to check that business rules are being complied with.

Within Graphologi the custom reports are implemented using the SPARQL language. We understand that not every customer will have the skills to create reports and therefore we provide a special service just for report help.

This help can be bought in half day packages at a special day rate just for this purpose of £400 per half day (+ sales tax).

Advanced Package

Solve complex problems using semantic technologies

Some of our customers want to use ontologies to further the capabilities of their knowledge graph work. However, there is sometimes a lack of knowledge about how to make use of ontologies to get to this next level.

Our Advanced services package will show you how you can use ontologies in both Graphologi and EasyGraph to take your solution to the next level and create a rich, connected graph that can help to solve real business problems, whether that is improving search, categorisation of content, adding metadata to content, data integration or feeding AI processes.

We will work with you to understand the problems you are trying to solve or the opportunities you want to exploit and show you how Graphifi's tooling can help you do that.

This package can include help on:

• Modelling your domain and creating ontologies

• Using any created ontologies to further enhance taxonomies

• Configuring EasyGraph to expose APIs and how to build applications on top of those APIs

The Advanced package costs £2450

(+ sales tax) and gives you three days of consultancy and material tuned to working with ontologies.

Also included is a three month Standard Graphologi subscription (worth £750) and three month Enterprise EasyGraph licence (worth £3000).
